The
Micro SmashTM allows you to complete the entire process of
Animal Tissue RNA extraction when combined with
the AutoGenprep 245T or
QuickGene-810* RNA extraction system.
The Micro
Smash automates the homogenization of your animal tissue samples.
Simply place your animal tissue sample along with a some zirconium beads
and AutoGen's homogenization solution
into AutoGen micro centrifuge tubes, homogenize them
on the Micro Smash, load the tube units
directly on the AutoGenprep 245T or QuickGene-810*, press the start button
and walk away.
*The
QuickGene-810 has a couple additional manual steps after
homogenization of the tissue prior to loading the lysate.

* "3D Rotating High Speed
Motion" is a high-speed movement which vertically rotates and
moves the sample tubes in a " figure-eight" motion. This motion
allows beads to impact the cells more directly for effective
disruption.
Three Step Process of
Completely Automated Animal Tissue

Step 1
Place animal tissue
sample, zirconium beads and tissue homogenization
solution into the AutoGen 2ml tube and cap it. |

Step 2
Set up to 12 tubes
into the Micro Smash, and homogenize for 1-2 minutes.. |
|
Step 3
Uncap the tubes and
load them into the AutoGenprep 245T or prepare the lysate
and load them into the QuickGene-810. |
